Lowa’s new hiking boot model can almost be described as being cut from the same cloth. Its upper is made of a piece of nubuck leather in closed lacing system. In addition to the slip-free C4 tongue, the X-LACING® system and waterproof GORE-TEX lining also ensure all-round comfort. These features not only keep your feet dry on soggy and cold days but also guarantee an ideal climate inside the shoe itself. The real highlight, however, is the newly developed VIBRAM APPTRAIL DIVO sole, which consists of two PU layers with different degrees of hardness. The softer section below the heel and in the ball area provides the cush­ioning you need. The harder section delivers addi­tional stability. The sole is rounded out in the truest sense of the word by the slightly curved shape in the forefoot area, which improves rolling prop­erties and ensures comfortable walkability.

• Vibram: Vibram® has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years.
• Resoleable: Lowa boots sold in the Mountaineering and Trekking categories are designed in a way during the development phase that they can be resoled. The upper of the shoe is retained, and a new sole is added to it. This process will extend the shoe’s service life and make a strong contribution to sustainability.
• Stiff: As a result of its construction, the footwear exhibits a strong resistance to bending.
• 2 Zone Lacing: Thanks to the two zone lacing system, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the footwear can be individually adjusted to the foot’s anatomy.
• X-Lacing: Optimum positioning of the tongue, without any slippage or pressure points: This is what X-LACING® technology is all about. This special lacing system secures the tongue both vertically and horizontally. As a result, the lacing system gains independence from the height of the instep, making it perfect for any type of foot. This technology ensures that the pressure of the laces is transferred not just to the hooks but to the tongue as well.
• C4-Tongue: The specially designed footwear tongue substantially enhances comfort. The tongue includes extra padding for the outer portion of the foot, and the upper end of it is especially soft. This asymmetric padding provides optimum support to many areas of the foot. To take into account the foot’s natural anatomy, the recesses for the ankle area have also been placed higher on the inside than on the outside, and a flexible bending insert has been integrated into the inner side by the foot.
