Lowa
Lorenz Wagner comes from a true family of shoemakers. His father was a shoemaker and his brothers also started a shoe business. Lorenz, of course, could not stay behind and founded Lowa in the small German village of Jetzendorf. This is where the company, now a bit larger than the 15 square meters Wagner started with, still houses today some century later. Lowa once started out making ski footwear, but for the past thirty years they have been focusing entirely on the hiking and mountaineering shoe segment. And with success! By now, every serious runner knows that Lowa delivers quality. The Renegade GTX Mid, for example, has become an integral part of their collection. The Renegade is a lightweight shoe and multifunctional. It is suitable for day trips, multi-day hikes and daily use on groomed trails. Against the throw-away society
In today's throw-away society, many things are exchanged or replaced too quickly, Lowa believes. Surely it is possible to repair? At the workshops in Jetzendorf and elsewhere, thousands of Lowa shoes have their soles replaced or are repaired otherwise every year. See what can be repaired on your shoe here.
