The SHELTER CS WP is a waterproof winter shoe with a sober, softshell style and a great fit.
- Outsole: Winter Contagrip®, the outsole of a shoe that makes contact with the ground.
- Midsole: EnergyCell, a material layer between the inner and outer sole of a shoe that provides cushioning, shock absorption and comfort.
- Chassis: Shank, advancedCHASSIS™, A moulded plastic piece sandwiched into the bottom unit, varying in shape to provide the desired degree of stability.
- Material Uppers: Softshell, The term upper refers to the part or parts of the shoe that cover/cover the toes, upper, sides and back of the heel.
- Softshell: Material Lining: Textile lining, a layer on the inside of the upper for extra comfort or insulation.
- Insole: Stamped OrthoLite® insole, system to adjust and secure the support of the shoe.
- Lacing system: Normal laces, system to adjust firm and precise support.
- Membrane: ClimaSalomon™ Waterproof, a continuous layer in the upper that protects against external weather conditions and ensures quick drying and optimal moisture management.
- Insulation technology: ClimaTherm™ material integrated into the shoe to prevent heat escaping and cold entering.
