Origin
Leki's products are developed and designed in Krichheim/Teck, Germany and in Tachov, Czech Republic. The aluminium shafts are manufactured using modern and environmentally friendly processes at Leki's own production facility in the Czech Republic. Leki strives to offer the ultimate, best-performing products with passionate, highly qualified, long-term and experienced employees. Leki has one goal: to combine safety and comfort with attractive design. The exchange of ideas between experts and top athletes ensures high experiential value. This results in functional, well-designed products that customers can enjoy and rely on for years to come. With more than 250 patents, Leki has introduced more innovations and filed more patents than any other manufacturer in the outdoor and ski industry. Today, Leki Lenhart GmbH is widely recognised as the absolute world leader in innovative stick and glove systems, thanks to the consistent implementation of its philosophy.

Technologies and innovations
In addition to the better-known Primaloft and Thinsulate, Leki also uses their own designed fillings: Fiberloft, Hyperloft en Superloft. Leki doesn't explain very much about the differences of all these insulation materials, other than that they all have effective insulating properties.
Leki Fiberloft
Fiberloft is an insulation material designed by Leki, consisting of 100% polyester. Fiberloft can be found in some gloves for children and in the Copper 3D series.
Leki Hyperloft
Hyperloft is another insulation material from Leki and consists of 100% polyester. Hyperloft has a slightly softer feel than Fiberloft.Leki Hyperloft is used along with Thinsulate in much of the Leki WCR collection.
Leki Superloft
Superloft is another insulation material designed by Leki. It consists of 100% polyester and is also described as softer than the Fiberloft padding. Leki is otherwise not very clear about the difference from Hyperloft.
Sustainability
Leki is committed to sustainability. This translates, among other things, into producing products of high quality, but also a socially responsible production process. By making high-quality products, Leki reduces the need to buy new gloves and ski or hiking poles with great regularity. In addition, Leki also offers a comprehensive repair service. So don't immediately buy a replacement item if your Leki product has broken down, but first see if it is still repairable.
Leki also manufactures most of its products in Europe. On the one hand, this reduces CO2 emissions because the products do not have to be brought to Europe by ship. Being closer to the factories also allows them to keep a close eye on the production process.
