The chic, waterproof Up-Town Rack basket is the ideal companion for shopping in comfort and is easy to carry on the carrier thanks to the Top-Lock adapter. With a volume of 17.5 litres, it is perfect for a visit to the market, going for sandwiches or a city stroll. Quick access is provided by the central lid attachment, without having to fully open the lid to do so. Wallet, keys or smartphone can be stored ready for grabbing in the inner zippered pocket, while the reinforcement inside and support legs ensure stability when loading and unloading.
Der Top-Lock adapter offers a unique possibility to quickly attach the Up-Town Rack to the carrier. Not only the initial mounting to luggage racks of 80 to 160 millimetres and a tube diameter of 8 to 16 millimetres is handled in no time at all, even after that the attachment and removal of the basket are dead simple thanks to the release handles located on both sides. A stable aluminium frame and a comfortable, adjustable carrying handle round off the modern look and allow you to carry the basket comfortably the next time you go shopping. For better visibility in road traffic, the pannier basket is fitted with Ortlieb's typical brightly shining reflector. The maximum useful load of the basket is ten kilograms.
