The razor-sharp blade is made of 100% recycled Swedish stainless steel, a sustainable and local way of dealing with a scarce material. This type of steel has excellent toughness, sharpness retention and durability. A good choice for an all-round outdoor knife. The blade is finished with a black PC coating, this gives the blade a unique look and contrasts beautifully with the shiny scandi gravel cut. Furthermore, the back of the blade is flat-ground to make it well-suited for use with a firesteel. The Lok has an ergonomically shaped handle with an integrated finger guard and is made of natural ash wood sourced from European FSC® forests. Ash wood is an amazing material that is naturally durable. The wood has only been treated with a protective layer of wax, thus preserving the properties of the wood throughout its life. The included sheath protects the blade and prevents unwanted cuts. The scabbard is made of vegetable-tanned leather, thus naturally protecting the leather from the elements. Also, during its life, the leather will develop a patina that tells the story of its use and makes each knife unique.
